Premier Design-Build

Mukhtar Kabuka was the project manger of this comprehensive and complicated project. For this multi-phased project, we provided design development and all construction documents, and then supervised the construction efforts. The scope of work included: constructing a new music suite building, a new media center, new science demonstration labs, and a new elevator. The work also included: alteration and renovation of the existing gymnasium, cafeteria, administration, several classrooms, and adult education offices. The challenge of this project was how to integrate the new addition and new remodeling work and still maintain the old historical character of this 1935 school. We were able successfully to blend this new work with the old school; incorporating new technologies and yet respecting the spirit and character of the school.
