Mukhtar Kabuka was the project manager for this noise-abatement-modification project of a private school. This school is located near the O’Hare Airport, which made it quite challenging to isolate the noise from the school. The scope of work included administration renovation, classrooms renovations, gymnasium modification, cafeteria modification, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical renovations. The work included replacement of existing windows, replacement of several doors, replacement of existing heating system, new fire alarm system, installation of new cabinetry, and construction of a new masonry enclosure for the new air cooled condensing unit.
Construction Cost: $1.6 Million
